Fast-5, Day 6

I think I'm overdue for updating about my progress with Fast-5 so far. Well, things have been going swimmingly. The weekend was definitely the hardest. It made me realize how frequently I eat out of boredom or just because food is there. At work, I just don't bring food with me, so even if I'm hungry, there's nothing to eat. At home, there's ALWAYS something around that I could eat. Plus, Sunday I went to the grocery store, which isn't the best place to be when you haven't eaten all day.

When I came back from San Francisco a week ago, I was 170. This morning I was 165.4. I'm going to TRY to remember to weigh as soon as I get home, before I break my fast and see if I'm even lower. Even if my weight isn't lower than that, 4.6 pounds in a week while eating nachos (twice) and cheesecake (albeit low-carb, sugar-free cheesecake) isn't too shabby, even if part of the loss is just the normal balancing of weight that happens after you get back on track with eating right.

I do want to complain about how I'm STILL not to where I was before I left for San Francisco. Seriously, two days of eating off-plan, and I'm screwed for more than a week. That stinks. And I need to remember that one indulgence sticks around with me for SUCH a long time. So not worth it. Hopefully I'll be seeing some "new lows" soon! I'm still optimistic!

Edit: Weighed when I got home and was at 164.4, which means 5.6 pounds this week and only 1.4 pounds from my lowest (and finally back to where I was before I left for San Francisco).
